Risk Assessment

Using the Tripod
When handling the tripod, it can be very tricky. You have to pivot round it, in order to make sure that you don't accidentally catch your foot on it when stepping and fall over, taking the tripod and camera with you. Make sure that the tripods legs are all extended at the same length and placed in a triangular position, this will give it a strong and sturdy placement and shouldn't topple over, it also allows you to manoeuvre around it without any complications.

Props
When using props, you should be careful and make sure that if it is a very dangerous object, that you have the right supervision. For example in my thriller, my group decided to use a frying pan, which can get very hot, and we had to be careful to not burn anyone or anything.

Location
Filming somewhere that there is no supervision, or somewhere that might not be safe is an automatic risk for those involved. Many things can happen when you don't have parental guidance in the streets or somewhere like the woods, that can be seen as somewhere that you can get lost or hurt. So when thinking of a location to film you have to take all of these things into account, and have a proper plan about it.
